The Watchu Mountain Adventure
Welcome to the Watchu Experience, Patriots' Path Council's trail to Philmont. Watchu is an 18-month-long program of teenage high adventure, capped by a backpacking trek at Philmont Scout Ranch near Cimarron, New Mexico. Patriots’ Path Council of northern New Jersey makes it easier than ever to be a part of this unique and exciting experience provided by the National Council of Boy Scouts of America. Every summer we send at least twenty crews of twelve persons each to Philmont.
If you are new to Philmont or Watchu, visit Patriots’ Path Council’s Watchu Experience page for general information and how to apply for the adventure of a lifetime. Or for other high adventure opportunities, please visit Patriots’ Path Council’s High Adventure page.
