Welcome to Patriots' Path Council's Watchu Experience! The Watchu Experience is the name of our 18-month-long program of teenage high adventure, capped by a backpacking trek at Philmont. Patriots’ Path Council of northern New Jersey makes it easier than ever to be a part of this unique and exciting experience provided by the National Boy Scouts of America. Every summer we send at least twenty crews of twelve persons each to Philmont Scout Ranch near Cimarron, New Mexico. These Web pages were developed by the Patriots' Path High Adventure Committee to support our contingent participants and crews. We are dedicated to improving Patriots' Path recruiting, retention and advancement of our older youth.

Take a look around. A good place to begin is our Quick Start page. It contains general information about the Watchu Experience and Philmont, including applications and the information necessary to sign up to be part of the adventure. If you are already a member of one of our contingents, you will want to use this site as an important reference throughout your Watchu experience. For easy access, please add it to your Favorites.  We are confident it will help you as you work to prepare yourself and your crew for a great adventure at Philmont.
